What this covers
This policy covers this website and the purchase and delivery of The Phrase Method. It explains what personal information we handle and on what basis.
What we collect
When you enrol, we collect what is needed to sell you the programme and give you access:
- Your name and email address
- Your billing address and country
- Your order details and history
- Which webinar sessions you choose
When you browse, our store platform collects technical information automatically, such as your IP address, device and browser, the pages you view and the site you came from.
What we do not collect
We do not see or store your full card number. Card details go straight to our payment provider, which is certified to handle them. We receive only a confirmation and the last digits.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- Take payment and give you access to what you bought
- Send you the emails you need in order to use the programme
- Answer your support messages and handle refund requests
- Keep records we are required to keep, such as for tax
- Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
If we send you marketing email, we do it only where we are allowed to, and every message has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect the emails you need in order to use the programme.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the services that make the store work, and only with what they need:
- Our ecommerce platform, which hosts this store
- Our payment provider, which processes the payment
- Our email provider, which sends order and course email
- Our webinar provider, which runs the live sessions
- Analytics and advertising services, where you have agreed to them
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies to keep your cart working, to remember your preferences, and to measure how the site is used. Some are necessary for the store to function; others are only set where you agree.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser. If you block the necessary ones, the cart and checkout will not work.
How long we keep it
We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires. We keep your course access for as long as you have access to the programme. Support messages are kept while they are useful for answering follow-up questions.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Stop using it for marketing
Ask through the support page. We may need to confirm who you are first. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
The services we use may process your information in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
